We have concluded that the definition of eco-friendly illumination is not necessarily a product or solution, but a set of qualities that enable lighting products to help reduce negative effects on nature. Overall, eco-friendly lighting has a reduced environmental impact, through properties such as energy efficiency, sustainable power source and materials.
The new AIR suspension light, conceived by Adam Tihany, combines a love of design with a solid ecological ethos. Featuring intricate laser cuts, a double emission light and a warm, inviting glow, you wouldn’t guess that this light is made of Green Cast. This is a 100% recycled and recyclable acrylic material produced with the utmost respect for primary resources, involving a significantly reduced amount of raw materials, and the re-use of what is considered waste.
The cream-coloured finishing is created during the generation process of the material Green Cast to reduce the environmental impact of the lacquering stage.
