A legacy of collaborative expertise defines the unified portfolio of Generation Lighting, an American brand whose roots trace back to early twentieth-century Philadelphia and New York. Formed through the integration of industry stalwarts Sea Gull Lighting and Feiss, and now operating as a key pillar of the Visual Comfort & Co. family, the brand has established itself as a global authority for designers seeking "designer-led" aesthetics at an accessible scale. Today, the company operates out of Skokie, Illinois and is a primary resource for those requiring versatile indoor and outdoor solutions. It offers an expansive catalog that spans from mid-century modern pendants to high-performance exterior fixtures featuring their proprietary StoneStrong weather-resistant technology.

What truly distinguishes Generation Lighting is its unique "Designer Collection" program and the masterful translation of high-fashion trends into functional residential products. The brand’s philosophy centers on the belief that great design should be attainable, utilizing a prestigious roster of partners—including Ellen DeGeneres, Kelly Wearstler, and Ralph Lauren—to create pieces that are both trend-conscious and enduring. By prioritizing a diverse aesthetic that spans from sleek Scandinavian minimalism to modern farmhouse silhouettes, the brand ensures its products provide a professional-grade aesthetic for any curated home or hospitality environment. This dedication to technical reliability and collaborative vision results in a signature look of approachable luxury, making their fixtures an essential, high-impact element of the modern interior landscape.
