Lyngby Porcelæn has made Danish porcelain since 1936, when the wholesaler Holst & Knudsen opened a factory in a former sugar refinery in Kongens Lyngby, north of Copenhagen, to produce tableware, vases and decorative pieces. The factory closed in 1969, but its designs stayed in Danish homes. The brand was relaunched in 2012 and joined Rosendahl Design Group in 2016, alongside Rosendahl, Holmegaard and Kay Bojesen. Montreal Lighting & Hardware carries a curated selection of its vases, dinnerware, serveware and candle holders for Canadian homes.

The brand's signature is the Lyngby vase, a white cylinder with fine vertical grooves that looked strikingly modern when it first appeared in the 1930s. Today the vase comes in porcelain, mouth-blown glass and stainless steel. The Rhombe dinnerware revives a relief pattern from the Lyngby archives, with Rhombe Color and Rhombe Earth glazes chosen by the design duo Stilleben, and Philip Bro Ludvigsen's Tura vases, candle holders and platters pair soft curves with the classic Lyngby grooves. From the dining table to the windowsill, Lyngby Porcelæn brings simple, sculptural Danish design to everyday living.
