Track lighting is one of the most flexible ways to light a space — multiple adjustable heads on a single track let you aim light exactly where it’s needed and change it as your room evolves. It’s a workhorse for kitchens, open-plan living areas, galleries, and retail, delivering accent light on art, task light over a counter, and general illumination from one run. Our range covers complete track kits, individual heads and rails, and flexible monorail systems in modern and minimal finishes.

Track Kits, Heads & Rail Systems
Track Kits
Complete track kits include the track and a set of heads, ready to install — the simplest way to add flexible, directional lighting to a kitchen, hallway, or living space. Kits are a straightforward upgrade or replacement for a single ceiling fixture, spreading light across a larger area.
Track Heads & Rails
Individual track heads and rails let you build or extend a system to fit your space — add heads to light more of a room, or replace heads to change the look. Because track systems come in different standards, match new heads to your existing track type for compatibility.
Monorail & Flexible Systems
Monorail and flexible track systems can be shaped and suspended, following the lines of a room or dropping below a high ceiling. They bring a more architectural, custom look than standard straight track — well suited to feature areas, islands, and design-led spaces.
Track Lighting FAQs
What is track lighting used for?
Track lighting provides flexible, directional light from multiple adjustable heads on a single track. It’s used for accent lighting (highlighting art or architecture), task lighting (over a kitchen counter or island), and general room illumination — often all three at once. Its adjustability makes it ideal for spaces where lighting needs change.
What are the different track types, and are they interchangeable?
Standard linear track comes in a few systems (often called H, J, and L types, after the original manufacturers) that are not cross-compatible — a head built for one system won’t fit another. Monorail and flexible systems are different again. When adding or replacing heads, match them to your existing track type; if you’re unsure which you have, our team can help identify it.
Can I add or reposition track heads later?
Yes — one of the main advantages of track lighting is that heads reposition along the track and can be added or swapped, as long as they match the track type and the circuit’s capacity isn’t exceeded. This makes it easy to adapt the lighting when you rearrange a room or change how a space is used.
Is track lighting dimmable?
Much track lighting is dimmable, depending on the heads or bulbs and the dimmer. For track using replaceable bulbs, use dimmable bulbs on a compatible LED dimmer; for integrated-LED heads, check the product for its dimming method. All heads on a single track dim together from the wall control.
Can track lighting be installed on any ceiling?
Track lighting installs at a ceiling junction box and can work on flat and, with the right hardware, sloped ceilings. The track is powered from the box and can often extend well beyond it. For installation — especially adding a new circuit or working with a sloped or high ceiling — use a qualified electrician.
