Tabouret de bar Soma

Rooted in the storied tradition of Nordic modernism, Woud Design has represented a masterclass in honest, high-impact Scandinavian aesthetics since its 2014 debut in Denmark. Founded by Mia and Torben Koed, the brand has established itself as a global authority for those seeking "meaningful simplicity" through the mastery of clean lines and functional elegance. Today, Montreal Lighting & Hardware is a primary resource for designers requiring these curated solutions, offering a premium catalog of award-winning furniture and lighting—such as the iconic Annular and Pump series—that serve as the understated focal point for the most prestigious residential and architectural environments.

What truly distinguishes Woud is its unwavering commitment to "material honesty" and the masterful execution of collaborative design with emerging international talent. The brand’s philosophy centers on the belief that every object should have a purpose and a soul, utilizing premium materials like solid oak, powder-coated steel, and hand-blown glass to create pieces that are both durable and tactile. By prioritizing a versatile design language that bridges the gap between classic Danish warmth and sleek, metropolitan minimalism, the brand ensures its products provide a professional-grade aesthetic for any curated space. This dedication to technical integrity and bold, graphic silhouettes results in a signature look of modern sophistication, making their designs an essential, high-impact element of any well-designed contemporary interior.
