Racer Double Shade Murale

Robert Abbey operates with the seasoned perspective of a multi-generational design house, where the refinement of "Mid-Century glamour" meets the rigorous standards of modern manufacturing. Since its founding in 1948, the family-operated brand has maintained a definitive reputation for "accessible luxury" by consistently anticipating the next movement in interior silhouettes. Today, Montreal Lighting & Hardware serves as a primary resource for designers requiring these high-impact solutions—from the iconic, retro-futuristic spheres of the Rico Espinet and Jonathan Adler collaborations to the architectural, clean-lined precision of the Bling and Meurice collections—that anchor the most prestigious residential environments.

The brand’s identity is anchored in a mastery of "material finishing" and a process-driven philosophy that prioritizes visual warmth. Their approach avoids the coldness of industrial mass-production, opting instead for a sophisticated palette of deep patinas, hand-applied gold leaf, and high-fired ceramics to ensure every fixture possesses a distinct, furniture-grade quality. By prioritizing specialized craftsmanship and a diverse range of designer-led inspirations, the brand ensures its products provide a professional-grade aesthetic for any curated space. This dedication to technical integrity and bold, storytelling silhouettes results in a signature look of modern sophistication, making their lighting and accents an essential, high-impact element of any well-designed contemporary interior.
