It can be washed in a home washing machine without an agitator, depending on the size. Any rug size 5' x 7'6" or smaller, including all runners, can fit into a washing machine that’s 3.4 cubic feet or bigger; 6' x 9' rugs require a washer that’s 4.2 cubic feet or bigger; 7'6" x 9'6" rugs require a washer that’s 4.8 cubic feet or bigger; 9' x 12' rugs must be washed in a commercial washer with at least a 60-lb. capacity. Wash in cold water, delicate cycle, with mild detergent, and no bleach; hang dry or lay flat to dry.
