Bon Jour Unplugged Lamp Shade

Emerging from the design hubs of Merano, Italy, Flos represents the pinnacle of avant-garde illumination and a legacy of boundary-pushing collaboration. Since its founding in 1962 by Dino Gavina and Cesare Cassina, the brand has functioned as a creative laboratory, partnering with legendary figures like Achille Castiglioni and Philippe Starck to redefine the relationship between light and space. Today, the company is a primary resource for those seeking "museum-grade modernism," offering an elite catalog that spans from mid-century icons to architectural systems that serve as the intellectual focal point for the most prestigious global interiors.

What truly distinguishes Flos is its unwavering commitment to "poetic functionality" and the masterful use of experimental materials. The brand’s philosophy centers on the belief that lighting should be a provocative artistic statement, utilizing premium elements like Cocoon resin, hand-blown Venetian glass, and precision-engineered aluminum to create pieces that are both technologically advanced and timeless. By prioritizing a minimalist design language that bridges the gap between industrial rigor and sculptural art, the brand ensures its products provide a professional grade aesthetic for any curated environment. This dedication to technical precision and iconic silhouettes results in a signature look of understated luxury, making their fixtures an essential, high-impact element of any sophisticated residential or commercial project.
